Hey,

I'm Sascha.

I’m a Dutch wildlife photographer based in Switzerland. Growing up near Lake Klingnau, I developed a strong connection to nature from an early age. My parents have always been passionate about wildlife, and they passed that passion on to me.

A trip to South Africa in 2007 was a turning point for me and sparked my love for wildlife photography. Since then, I’ve spent much of my free time photographing and editing wildlife from around the world.

Besides photography, I work as a principal and a special education teacher.

Switzerland offers plenty of opportunities for wildlife photography, especially in the Alps. Species such as Bearded Vultures, Golden Eagles, Wallcreepers and Black Grouse are among my favourites to photograph.

Have a look at my portfolio to see wildlife from Switzerland and around the world. I also offer workshops and presentations, as well as a selection of printed photo products.
